This track is a sister-track to Marina’s, ‘To be Human’; this can be detected by a) the theme covered and b) the tone, where the style mimics to a significant extent, as though possessing the chilling echoes of the other song. I’d suggest the tragedy in the narrative is actually one and the same: we are the the reason for our own downfall.
